Quicker Client Response Led Print Specialist to i3
During 23 years as a print specialist with IBM, Bob Rusho had many amazing experiences and saw incredible innovations - as you would expect from IBM. One of the few things the experience was missing for Bob, however, was the kind of agility on customer responsiveness that can only come from a smaller but still very capable company.
He believes he has found what he was looking for at i3 Business Solutions.
"I worked with this company when it was Silverlake Resources in the past, and I liked the people there," Rusho said. "It is a highly professional organization, and I like the idea of a partner firm that is quick to react to customers and has a wide range of solutions to offer them."
Rusho serves i3 clients as a senior marketing representative, and while he is actively involved in delivering a wide array of services and solutions, he continues to make good use of his expertise in the fiend of print management.
"Every one of our customers has has printers of one form or another," Rusho said. "It's a specialty that typically goes unnoticed, but you can have the best warehousing and the best ERP system anywhere, but if you can't get it on the printed page, you can't do anything with it."
But what about the paperless office? Aren't we still waiting for that?
Rusho says expectations of so-called paperless offices were based on faulty assumptions, and that, indeed, offices today have more paperflow than ever.
"The paperless office is a misnomer," he says. "It never happened and it's not happening."
What is happening, however, is Rusho putting his experience to good use - as well as his earlier background as a mechanical engineer and systems engineer - to add value to the i3 team.
